The Netherlands, and in particular Noord-Brabant has a huge drugs problem. They are supposedly the world-leader in synthetic drugs globally. This motivated the province to think about this problem, and about possible solutions. One of the options that has not been explored previously is data-science. The police, the city’s and the province itself has heaps of data lying around.

The Province contacted us to take on this data science challenge and create a model to predict the locations of future drug labs using the heaps of data collected over the years by the government.
