My favourite hobby is discovering things about computers and how we make them do what we do. It has always been my ambition to create things for people to use and enjoy. Only when I discovered the art of programming, the world truly opened up to me.
At Movir, I support a development team responsible for building a sustainable and maintainable back-office platform to replace legacy systems. Beyond implementation, I contribute to architectural and product decisions, plan phased migrations from old to new systems, and improve testing, automation, reliability, observability, and security.
At Zilveren Kruis, I was part of a team working on healthcare reimbursement for people from abroad. We dealt with frequently changing regulations, integrated with many external APIs from hospitals and international health insurers, and improved internal efficiency through clearer domain boundaries and business-rule automation.
At Alfam Consumer Credit, I worked on a customer portal that let users manage their loans, review details, and handle common self-service interactions. During the assignment I helped migrate from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET Core and regularly acted as a security specialist.

During this internship, I worked on polishing projects so they could be released. These were serious games with alternative input methods, usually requiring hardware interfacing and special controls.
At DDC Europe I was part of the IT staff and got to fix various small and big issues, from debugging broken code to helping make the codebase more future proof.
